MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 Senior certificate/ Grade 12/ STD 10, plus
 Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist Assistant
( Basic)
 Proof of payment of Annual Fee (2021) to South African Pharmacy Council
 Computer Literacy ( MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

 Communication and problem solving skills
 Good interpersonal relationships
 Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality of work.
 Sound planning, organising and time management

 Ability to use Rx Solutions medicine supply management software

KEY RESULT AREAS
 Requisitioning and preparation of medicine for issuing
 Medicine supply management including expiry checks, stock rotation, stock take and
maintenance of stock level.
 Maintain accurate and appropriate statistics and records.
 Perform all duties in accordance with the governing regulations and standard operating
procedures.
 Maintain good housekeeping in the pharmaceutical environment.
 Provide basic primary health education with regard to the safe and effective use of
medicine
 Operation of Sync at Primary Health Care level.
 Weekly reporting of product data and Stock Visibility Solutions.

establishment of all institutions. It must be ensured that all those who meet the requirements of the post/s
are made aware of this circular minute even if they are absent from their normal places of work.

DIRECTIONS TO CANDIDATES
