KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
General administrative duties related to site admin Liaise with Site staff, Management
and HR on monthly basis to coordinate all time sheets to ensure that all time keeping
procedures and requirements are fulfilled Compile FTC employment contracts for
RME TEW site Controlling, issuing and receiving materials, plant and PPE for RME TEW
site. Coordinate all fleet related duties Liaise with site staff on movement of vehicles,
vehicle repairs and plant movement on a daily basis Facilitate and investigate all delivery
and payment related issues Match invoices, delivery notes and GRVs, ensure accurate
capture thereof and submit to financial department for payment timeously. Monitor the
progress of all orders and advise Line of the imminent completion or expiry thereof
expeditiously. Maintain a proactive communication direct with supervisors on regular basis.

Fleet Controller X1

JOB PURPOSE
 To monitor and control vehicle and equipment within RME Contracts
successfully as per policies, procedures and RME expectations and to perform
daily tasks and maintain control under the control of the Logistical Official.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 Code 8 B /C1 code 10 & high driver licence
 Must be able to drive vehicles from the Green Area or site to the service
facilities and back.
 Computer littered.
 Physical Fit( Undergo medical examination and be declared fit for duty)
 The candidate must be-able to work on computer programs (Excel) and SAP.
 The candidate will be trained on Fleet Max and Vehicle Tracking programs.
 Grade 12 certificate and/or proven 3 years’ experience in Fleet related duties
 Basic knowledge of relevant legislation (Code 29. AARTO, Act 85 and
Construction Regulations) regarding Transportation and vehicle usage
 Basic knowledge of vehicles and equipment to be managed
 A sound knowledge of the policies, procedures and standards within TFR
 Knowledge of correct protective clothing and safe working procedures
regarding vehicles and equipment
 Be technical minded
 Be able to work in relevant computer programs as required
 Be able to manage the uses of vehicles and equipment and manage the
repair and maintenance of the relevant vehicles, equipment and tools in a
good running condition
 Be able to function independently if required and travel.
 Be Safety conscious
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Control and co-ordinate all vehicle services and COF’s as well as equipment
movements and services for teams and asset registers and code 29 files
 Prevention repairs of vehicles and equipment
 Keep statistics of all driver assessments, new and old
 Vehicle accidents and incidents
 Compile a monthly reports on vehicle km readings and equipment movements
 Control your group of drivers and vehicle usage and maintenance
 After hour use authority for vehicles by employees
 Control authorised and un-authorised vehicle use
 The process of acquiring a quotation and the authorisation of the quotation for
repairs
 Assist in compiling and maintaining the segment asset register
 Keep record of, and arrange for testing and certification of lifting equipment and HI-
UP cranes on trucks
